Greenwaves advance to Region 3 Tournament

The Meade County High School Greenwave soccer team finished up their regular season with only one win, so it would only be fitting for them to play against that team again in their first round of District 11 tournament play. Meade pummeled Butler County in the first round defeating them 10-0 to advance against Grayson County in the Championship game. There is no love loss between these two teams as they have squared off the last four years for the District 11 Championship with Meade taking home the hardware each year. The last time Grayson won the district would be aback in 2014. These two team played earlier this season that came down to penalty kicks to decide the winner, so to say on Oct 10th that the Championship game wasn’t going to be exciting, would be an understatement.
