Raising the Barr

Adam Barr, 39, of Barr Farms, is a seventh-generation farmer.
Barr, who has a degree in Biomedical Engineering and Spanish Literature, spent time living in Argentina working for the State Department. There, he saw farming as an opportunity. Barr moved back to the states in 2005. After working on several farms, he began farming full time on his family farm in Rhodelia, which has been in the family since 1835.
