General election slated for Nov. 5; poll books go electronic

On Tuesday, Nov. 5, a statewide general election will take place. Polls in Meade County will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Meade County residents should experience quicker registration times than ever before this year. New for this election, electronic poll books will replace their printed predecessors.
