Pokemon League comes to Irvington

Most people with smartphones will recall the summer of 2016 when Niantic released Pokemon Go. Just in case you missed that, the game is a location-based, augmented reality game where players try to catch digital animals in real-time. It exploded on the Apple App Store, becoming the number one downloaded game for weeks. After a few technical difficulties and essential functions glitched and removed, it died down a few months later. That didn’t stop one local Pokemon fan.
