Robots Outrun Usain Bolt: New Speed Record Over 100 Meters

During the event’s opening ceremony, the Chinese humanoid, named X-Humanoid, took center stage with its record-breaking performance. This isn’t the first instance of robots outpacing human athletes. Earlier, another robot developed by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Honor, nicknamed Blitz, completed the 100-meter dash in 9.32 seconds, as reported by China’s state television.

These feats are not confined to short distances. Blitz also made headlines in April by completing a half-marathon in an astounding 50 minutes and 26 seconds, a time that significantly undercut the fastest human times for the distance.
