Meade County Special Olympics

The Meade County Special Olympics traveled to the Area 4 Special Olympics Track & Field Regional Tournament at Ballard High School in Louisville May 13.

Meade County track team competes at state middle school championships

On May 20, the Kentucky Middle School State Championships were held at Paul Dunbar High School in Lexington. Approximately 70 middle school teams consisting of over 1,500 athletes competed to make this year’s championship not only the largest in state history but the most competitive as well. Stuart Pepper Middle School, in its second year of competition, had 25 athletes compete.

Going to the game in style

The U-12 Vipers Girls’ Select Soccer team received a limo ride to their last game of the season and afterwards got to cruise around town in style (they earned it).
