Picking up after
the Easter Bunny

The annual Easter egg hunt at Brandenburg United Methodist Church was rained out March 15, and the weather wasn’t much better Sunday, March 16, when the hunt for eggs began after morning services.

Archaeologists gather to hear story of Brandenburg Stone

Myths were debunked and commentary regarding a unique Meade County stone were revealed March 3.

The Brandenburg Stone, found on the Paradise Bottoms farm of the late Craig Crecelius in 1912, easily kept the attention of Meade County Archaeological Society members.

Bruce Caster – 2007 Fair Person of the Year

“Sometimes it’s easy to overlook someone because you are used to them being around,” said Meade County Fair Board manager David Pace in preparing to announce the recipient of the 2007 Fair Person of the Year Award. The person in question, Pace said, helps set up, tear down, provides equipment and has branched out to help with other events as well.
