Cases of Type A virus appear at two schools

A student at Meade County High School’s Freshman Academy was confirmed to have Type A influenza by his physician Sept. 3, and as such it is a suspected case of the H1N1 “swine flu.” On Sept. 4, two students at Flaherty Elementary School were also found to have Type A influenza.
