Greenwaves Left Looking for Answers

The Greenwave sfootball team got off to a fast start in their game against the North Hardin Trojans on October 5, at Hamilton Field. In their first offensive series, they went with the running game using senior Nate Holley to pound the ball up the middle, gaining first downs. It took the Greenwaves 18 plays to move the ball 80 yards, burning time off the clock with each first down. They finished the drive with Holley punching the ball in from the five yards line, and added the extra point to take a seven-point lead. Coach Mofield was pleased at the way the team moved the ball in the first quarter, but that would be the only offensive drive that would net the Greenwaves a touchdown.
