The legacy continues
For the senior players on the Meade County High School Ladywave Soccer team, not bringing home a district 11 championship is something that they have not experienced since they have been a Ladywave. All have been on the team since they have been in the seventh grade, not all have been on the varsity team for all six years mind you, but they have been a part of the team’s successes over the last six years. They began their quest for sixth straight district championship on Oct 7. When most students are enjoying their fall break they took on the Butler County Lady Bears in first round of district play. Meade made quick work of the Butler County beating them by a score of 10-0. Which advanced them to the Championship game, where they would face off, once again, against the Grayson County Lady Cougars.
