As the conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues, both nations have sustained casualties and reported significant infrastructure damage. Recent strikes include attacks deep within Russian territory targeting oil facilities.
In a tragic update from the city of Saporizhzhia, a missile strike reportedly claimed the life of a woman, with eleven others injured, including three children. The governor, Ivan Fedorov, shared images of the extensive damage to residential buildings.

Further north, in Sumy, local authorities have reported the deaths of three individuals following a nighttime assault. At least two others were reported injured in these attacks.
Tragedy in Occupied Territories
A strike on Kyrylivka, a settlement in the Russian-controlled southern part of Ukraine, has resulted in the deaths of at least eleven people, four of whom were children, according to local Moscow-appointed official Yevgeny Balitsky. This attack, which hit a tourist site, also left 16 others injured.
Elsewhere, the Russian region of Belgorod experienced a significant drone attack, injuring four, as reported by the acting governor, Alexander Shuvayev.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has stated that 328 drones were intercepted overnight, including attacks targeting Moscow and regions as distant as Bashkortostan and Chuvashia.
Strategic Strikes on Russian Oil Facilities
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukrainian forces had targeted oil infrastructure deep within Russia, striking an oil refinery in Tyumen and a munitions factory in Kirov, which produces components for artillery shells. A logistics site in Yekaterinburg was also hit.
The governor of Tyumen, Alexander Moor, confirmed that a drone attack had sparked a fire at the oil refinery facility within his region.
Additionally, the Ukrainian security service reported drone attacks on the Filanovsky oil platform, operated by Russian energy giant Lukoil, and two cargo ships in the Caspian Sea, suspected of being involved in military transports between Russia and Iran.
