Hamas has once again handed over bodies to the Red Cross. The Israeli military has confirmed that these are the remains of soldiers abducted to the Gaza Strip.
The terrorist organization Hamas has delivered the mortal remains to staff of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) again. The Israeli Army reported that three coffins were transferred to the custody of the ICRC in the Gaza Strip. Subsequently, these were transported to Israel, where the army took over.
The deceased were identified by the Israeli Army as Asaf Hamami, Omer Neutra, and Oz Daniel. These three soldiers were killed by Hamas and other extremists during the massacre on October 7, 2023, in Israel in a battle with the terrorists. Their bodies were subsequently abducted.

With the return of their bodies, there are still eight bodies of hostages in Gaza. All living hostages were released as part of a ceasefire agreement in exchange for hundreds of Palestinian prisoners.

During a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz (CDU) emphasized that Hamas must quickly hand over the mortal remains of the last hostages.
Merz stressed the need for quick and safe delivery of aid to the people in Gaza. The discussion also covered how the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip could be stabilized.
